Who is Toni Breidinger? Everything you need to know about NASCAR’s rising star

Making his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut this weekend, part-time ARCA Menards Series driver Toni Breidinger is setting the world of stock car racing on fire.

The 23-year-old driver from Hillsborough, Calif. had one of the most bizarre introductions to NASCAR for any driver in history, and we mean that in the best way possible.

Starting out as a 9-year-old girl whose father took her go-karting, Toni Breidinger has taken competitive four-wheel driving very seriously since her introduction. The Arab-American driver recently opened up about what got her interested in racing in an interview with Fox New Digital, where she said:

“I started racing when I was in karting at 9 and just for fun. But I took it very seriously at a young age and told him (Breidinger’s father) that I wanted to be race car driver. And he definitely I thought it was just going to be a phase. But I stuck with it, and it’s been a long journey of 14 years. But here I am.

Along with being the only female driver in Saturday’s Heart of America 200 at Kansas Speedway, she also holds the bragging rights of being the only Victoria’s Secret model on the track.

Introducing the lingerie giant to the world of motorsport, the 23-year-old will be seen driving TRICON Garage’s #1 Toyota Tundra TRD this weekend.

Toni Breidinger’s future in the sport can be shaped in any shape she wants as she has mastered many different angles in the sport, as well as a host of firsts. Who knows, maybe we’ll see the makings of the next Danica Patrick right before our eyes.

Toni Breidinger explains how Victoria’s Secret is sponsoring her NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut

Ahead of his first appearance in the sport’s most junior national series, Toni Breidinger addressed another fact. These are his two childhood dreams which come together on the track this weekend.

She’s wanted to model for lingerie giant Victoria’s Secret since childhood and now, as her modeling and racing careers collide, she feels “surreal”.

Growing up, I struggled a lot with body confidence. last year I focused on my mental and physical health rather than my appearance. I’m honored to be part of the @VictoriaSecret family. thank you for allowing me to trust myself!

She says:

“It’s so crazy. It’s funny because I joke that I manifested it when I was little because I had this diary. And I used to write that I want to be a racing driver. And I also wrote that I want to be a Victoria’s Secret model So the fact that they both happened, like two worlds colliding, is so surreal. It’s enough mad.

The Heart of America 200 goes live this Saturday at 8:00 p.m. ET on FOX Sports (FS1).
