Pole sitter Mike Marlar led the 50 laps at Ponderosa Speedway en route to Friday’s $12,000 win at the 19th John Bradshaw Memorial. Marlar picked up his first Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series win of the season and 18th of his career. This is his third overall victory of the season.
Seeing his three-race Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series winning streak snapped, Hudson O’Neal of Martinsville, Ind., settled for second, 0.574 seconds down. Brandon Overton, third from Evans, Georgia, earned his second podium finish of the weekend. Jonathan Davenport and Ricky Thornton Jr. each moved up one position, finishing fourth and fifth.
