Les Bleues are only 19 left to prepare for the 2022 World Cup. This Friday, August 19, the French Basketball Federation (FFBB) announced that Janelle Salaun (1.90 m, 20 years old) had to withdraw for the rest of the preparation for the 2022 World Cup. The winger of de Villeneuve d’Ascq is “embarrassed by pain in the right wrist, not allowing him to to be at 100% of its current capacity”. In addition, the staff decided to release Tima Pouye (1.75 m, 23 years old) “for the rest of the preparation”. Following Aby Gaye’s withdrawal earlier this week, only the following 19 players remain in the current squad:
