Zapping Goal! soccer club ASSE: the 10 biggest sales in history
Present this Friday at a press conference on the eve of the reception of the Stade de Reims, on behalf of the 37th day of Ligue 1, the coach of AS Saint-Etienne, Pascal Dupraz, clarified things on his future, insisting that he only came to ASSE for a six-month mission.
“The meeting will take place at the request of the leaders”
“I am not indecisive. Things are clear, neat and precise. The leaders who took me on did it for a mission which is to maintain them. Fortunately, they will give me my days off so it will stop either the 21st or the 29th. I’m not wanting anything. The meeting will be at the request of the leaders. That’s the deal between them and me. It stops and I’m very proud to have worked with Samuel Rustem, Loïc Perrin and Jean-François Soucasse and also with the two shareholders because they let me work and things are extremely clear between us. And they have all the rights, but I have some too. If I am offered to stay at the end of the season? I have my free will. (…) My mission, nobody promised me and imposed anything. The deal was clear, I was told: “you come and you’re keeping ASSE in Ligue 1 and we’re not talking about what’s next”. We’ve never talked about it! And we probably won’t talk about it. Even if my leaders wouldn’t talk to me at the end of the season, I wouldn’t have to take offense because it was simply not agreed.”
