Concarneau and Dunkirk in Ligue 2, Nancy and Bourg-en-Bresse relegated to chaos – National – J34 – Summary

Tuna shot!

This is a great first in the history of USC: Concarneau will play in Ligue 2 next season. The Bretons validated their rise by winning on the wire in Orléans (1-2). Top scorer in the championship, Fahd El Khoumisti honored his status by planting his 16e goal of the season, before Antoine Rabillard offered the three points to his team. The icing on the cake: Stéphane Le Mignan’s men pocket the title of National champion. Relegated last year, Dunkirk also climbed into the lift. Alain Ipiélé and Rayan Ghrieb put the USLD on the right track at Le Mans. THE serial local striker Armand Gnanduillet put the two teams level with a brace, and Dunkirk was very hot, but two minutes after Gnanduillet found the post, Ghrieb relieved his people by scoring the winning goal (2-3). In the obligation to win, the Red Star did the job against Stade Briochin thanks to Cheikh Ndoye (2-0). But the expected boost from Orleans or Le Mans did not come. Same bitter observation for Martigues, which remains docked despite its stunning victory against Versailles (4-3).

Still in Ligue 1 in 2016-2017, Nancy will play in N2 next season. Both in danger, Bourg-en-Bresse and the ASNL surrendered blow for blow. Benoît Pedretti’s team led three times, without managing to maintain their advantage (3-3). The meeting ended without the Lorraine supporters, evacuated after throwing firecrackers and smoke bombs in added time. Incidents which forced the referee to interrupt the meeting for about twenty minutes. The two formations join Bastia-Borgo, Paris 13 Atlético, Le Puy and Saint-Brieuc in the cart. Perhaps temporarily, since the administrative court has yet to rule on the defeat of ASNL on green carpet against Concarneau, disputed by the Nancy. Relief on the side of Avranches, which overthrew Cholet (2-1)and Chateauroux. La Berrichonne came close to corrections by wasting a two-goal lead against Paris 13 Atletico, before snatching victory at the start of the last quarter of an hour (2-3). Villefranche also validated its maintenance, and with panache, on the lawn of Sedan (0-3). The FCVB even went for sixth place in the final, overtaking the Boars. In the only match without stake of the evening, the duel of relegated between Le Puy and Bastia-Borgo gave birth to a score of parity (2-2).

The National is over, long live the National!
