Barça sells 15% of its TV rights to the investment company Sixth Street
After ceding 10% of its TV rights to Sixth Street last summer, FC Barcelona announced on Friday that it has once again bequeathed 15% of its television rights to the $60 billion global investment firm assets under management. The Catalan club will therefore continue to replenish its coffers, since the 10% sold last season brought in more than 200 million euros. “We continue to advance our strategy and are delighted to have entered into this new agreement with Sixth Street, which provides us with a significant increase in our financial strength” Satisfied Joan Laporta, the president of Barça, in the official press release published this Friday.
At the next agreement, it is Lionel Messi who could have the right to return.
